Gio's Dad says that he went to the clinic for weight loss and that his son never went there:

I don't think you guys get it.

They're all linked to PED's. With the exception of Melky, they didn't fail a drug test (that we know of). They aren't getting suspended.

Funny to see ARod still juicing though.

Ok, as a Nats fan, I'll bite. To this point, most Nats fans are quite surprised as we hadn't heard any such rumblings. Plus,Gio doesn't seem to fit the profile of a "ripped" athlete.

All of that said, clearly 2012 was his best year ever. And many of the names on the list are either "repeat" offenders or the usual suspects.

He used in Oakland brah.

I heard Richard Justice of MLB.com on the radio this morning say he thought they were all at risk of suspension even without failing a test, based on provisions of the "the agreement." Whether he was referring to a provision of the CBA, some supplemental agreement re drug enforcement, or something else, I did not hear.

Ignorance

You obviously don't understand PED's. Some get you big, some get you ripped, some burn fat, some lean you out, some build mass, some help endurance, etc. There's a PED for everything. Not every PED is designed to make you look like the Incredible Hulk or give you a six pack.

They said a lot of winstrol was coming out of the Miami clinic. Likely what Gio was taking if he was using.

Winny is awful on your joints. He may have fan a cycle in the off season, but idk if he'd risk injury and run a cycle of winny during the season...

I wouldn't be mad if Nelson Cruz missed 50 games.

Knowing him, he'll likely miss 50 games due to injury

I wish some Astros would start taking some PED's. Not looking forward to a 50 win season.

Neither would have the Rangers bandwagoners. It would get both Gentry and Martin playing time.

Not that you need to worry about us. We're just thankful that Houston moved into the division so we can't fall back to the cellar.

I'll be amazed if Ryan Bruan's name doesn't emerge. Smug bastard.

Let's be honest. If no one was on PED's, and the lead HR hitter had 25/yr, no one would watch baseball.

I disagree with that line of thinking. Firstly, someone would probably still be hitting 30-40 home runs a year and secondly because you can't watch a 3 plus hour event just for the purpose of watching a 5 second highlight.

If you love baseball you don't watch for a homerun every so often - you enjoy watching many parts of the game on every play. You enjoy seeing the pitcher and catcher try to outwit a hitter. You enjoy a great defensive play. You enjoy noticing how a defense adjusts to each hitter. You enjoy seeing a hit and run and you enjoy seeing a guy steal a base.

I hope I don't sound like a baseball snob because I do enjoy watching a home run. But it is just not the only great thing about watching a game any more than watching a basketball game is only interesting for a monster slam

Also the game is getting better as a whole as steroid use has waned.
