Technically been going on the past three days with the Dodgers and Padres playing two exhibitions each against KBO teams and the national squad but the MLB regular season kicks off tonight at 5AM in Seoul. Which one of you degenerates will be up watching

I dont even think the Padres or Dodgers are going to take these games super seriously

Basically like a full speed scrimmage

They can hardly get people to watch the games during the evenings and on weekends. You think people gonna get up early on a weekday to watch the Padres and Dodgers???

they’re definitely not having this game in South Korea to attract US viewers

Real opening day is next week (3/28)

Shohei Ohtani target of reported bomb threat, but Dodgers still set to play Padres

quote:

According to local media reports in South Korea’s capital city, police received an email Wednesday morning from a person threatening to bomb Gocheok Sky Dome to harm Shohei Ohtani and others during the Dodgers and Padres international opening day game Wednesday night.

However, no dangerous or suspicious situation was found, according to the Yonhap News Agency, and a Major League Baseball spokesperson said that Wednesday night’s game was scheduled to proceed as planned.
