MLB player that played every game last year

This may be common knowledge but I was pretty surprised that this guy did it. Who's the guy?

He's surprisingly very durable. Without taking the time to look it up, I think he's played in all 162 games 2 out of the last 3 years. And I'm pretty sure he's never played below 150 since he's been in the majors.

Correct and correct. Well, not counting his call up in 2005. 157 is his lowest game total.

With all these candy-asses taking days off every year, there is no doubt in my mind now that Ripken's streak is by far and away the safest record in all of sports...to the point that I don't think anyone will even get to within half of it.

Well... it's not as safe as old school pitching records, but yeah, it's unlikely anyone will get close.
