Watched a few MJ documentaries and they always end with his last title. Never go on to talk about his stint with the wizards. Wonder why?

His biggest accomplishment for us Wizards fans was getting us the all star game.

Those years were basically a ceremonial victory lap.

If Jordan doesn't get hurt his first year back, then the Wizards would have been a very tough out in the playoffs that year. Jordan and Hamilton were a great duo.

Sadly only saw him live during this time with the Wiz.

Scored 20 in a so so game @ Houston.

Realized the other night I hadn't seen LeBron live so planning on going to see him next year while he is still hopefully at the peak of his powers.

I saw Jordan in the last game at the Omni (game 4 of the 2nd round of the playoffs in 1997). The Hawks played them really tough in 2 of the 4 losses in that series (and even won 1 game).

Jordan was actually really good with the Wizards in his first year before his knee injury. Please see article above.

Bc he played AND was VP of player personnel i.e. their GM and couldn't even construct a winning team with all that power. No one mentions this when discussing MJ nor do they mention that Bill Russell achieved a repeat at age 35 as PLAYER-HEAD COACH of the Celtics, unprecedented.

Dude he was still good both years. Even the last year he still averaged 20 ppg, 6.1 rpg, and 3.8 apg over a full 82 game season
