Updated info:

Contract between Missouri and BYU to play at Arrowhead has no buyout. Either team could cancel and walk away.

Where are you getting your info?

quote:

According to the contract for the games between BYU and Missouri to be played this year in Kansas City and in 2020 in Provo, any school that cancels its appearance would have to pay the other school $1 million. To get the series scheduled, the schools also agreed to split the cost to have Wagner travel to BYU and Idaho State travel to UNLV and have presumably paid those bills.

I hope BYU forces the issue and demands a forfeit if they're not going to play at all. Another win on their schedule puts them in better position in the post-season.

im not shocked by espn and other media outlets supporting this. This mornings broadcast just kept talking about the racial problems on campus. 3 in 90 days with 1 off campus is like saying LSU has a drinking problem because people got drunk at the station. If its off campus wtf are they wanting the university president to do? ANd the shite swatiska is overblown to frick and back..its a crazy guy not a racist white guy trying to scare blacks.
I just want one national figure to call out what this is...bullying. A peaceful protest doesn't hit someones car...but they found a way to still be a victim when people said don't damage property...its such a sense of entitlement its fricking sickening. ANd people are jumping on the bandwagon because they want to be seen as a free thinker but they aren't thinking at all.
Its been awhile since a sjw story has gotten under my skin but one that has 0 shite behind it and catching traction is maddening.
I wish people could take a time machine and see what hard times really were because of the color of your skin. Now the past is tjust an excuse to get what you fricking want.

Article is $$$$

Everyone's afraid of being called racist -- especially if you're a white male sportswriter, which is like 90% of all sportswriters in the country -- so the easiest thing to do is write a boilerplate column praising the courage of the players.

After all, what's the payoff in pointing out that a poop swastika isn't actually directed at black football players? Or that racial slurs happen everywhere and are unlikely to be solved by not playing a football game?

No, don't you get it, these guys hate racism more than you and me and everyone else. They hate racism so much they are not going to play a football game -- that they'll probably lose.

That's brave, man.

Look, if not playing football games cured racism, I'd be the first to say don't play football. But this is an absurd protest with absurd demands. The simple truth is this -- the sports media is overwhelmingly liberal white guys. It's easier to praise players than point out that this is the Kony of college football, a millennial-fueled uproar lacking in cogent goals or actionable claims.

Not all strikes are dumb, but this one? This one is very dumb.

Me either. The easy thing to do is support this. Just like Jenner. She's so brave. Just like these kids.

Yeah fricking right.

Meida needs to call them for what they are. Dumb arse, thin skinned pussies. But they won't because "racism".

What these idiots that support this blindly don't realize is eventually something about them will be in the spotlight and they will get bullied into being fired as well. One slip of a word or action taking out of context and you are in the bullseye..but they dont see that..they just support bullying to get ones way and call it brave.

The list of demands is what I can't understand not being called out. THey basically want to control the whole fricking school.

Butlers company is probably going to see an immediate infusion of capital. He will then hold a private meeting with Wolfe where a deal regarding new programs and resources will be "brokered" to the satisfaction of all parties.. It would be a travesty to the leadership of any college to give into the outlandish demands thrust upon them by a coddled group of students athletes. Taking away their scholarships is as ridiculous of a response as their demands but in no way can most of those demands be met.

How the school reacts to this is very important as far as setting precedent.

It has to be understood that this is absolutely ridiculous.

Missouri could still a field a team with just their white players, couldn't they?

It feels weird to even type that.

I'm assuming after Pinkel's tweet about being united behind their teammates, that the team as a whole wouldn't play if those players are still refusing come Saturday.

Crazy.

Reading an article on ESPN this morning, the team is anything but united behind the scenes. A ton of the players (both races) are pissed right now.

These SJW types have figured out that white people are terrified of being labeled racists and now think thats the magic bullet to get everything they want.

They should be getting ridiculed and laughed off of campus. Players and coach included.
