He's going to sit for the National Anthem because of President-elect Donald Trump. In effect, he's protesting democracy. Not sure what he's trying to accomplish here.

Well, its only happened twice since 1888.
It almost bit the Republicans in 2004. Ohio was razor thin, and a loss there would've meant Bush would've lost the electoral vote but won the popular vote.
