he does a good job at developing young players, but imo, he can't take the thunder to the next level. he may not leave okc this year, but if Memphis wins this series (which I think they will), he'll be on the hot seat.

Scott Brooks is the new George Karl. Great at developing players. Solid coaches. Offenses that are elite in regular season but will never win title.

And Mark Jackson is really bad, too.

Hate to say it b/c I like him a lot, but I think he's peaked at OKC.

Hard to say really. They had a great thing going and then the Harden trade happened. Martin sucked in the playoffs last year and the 2 other guys they got in that trade haven't done anything in the playoffs. Then Westbrook missed most of the playoffs last year and seems to have thrown off the chemistry the team had when he missed a lot of time in the regular season.

Brooks has his flaws, but I wouldn't judge him too harshly over the previous two seasons.
