Michigan State being accused of sexual abuse scandal cover-up

Since September 2016, more than 60 women and girls have come forward with sexual assault allegations against Nassar.
At least six five civil lawsuits have been filed against Nassar. MSU is named as a defendant in two of them.

Yea the more I think about it the more it seems that if this is true it can't stay only a local story. 60+ girls getting abused is something that would blow open as a national story.

I apologize for not reading the linked story but were these college age or older women? I don't intend to minimize crimes against adults but a scandal that widespread is even harder to understand when more of the victims are old enough to recognize what's going on and report.

Wasn't there something with a team doctor and a former student athlete that came out in last few months but the alleged incidents were from several years ago? I thought it was Mich St but it may have been somewhere else.

If this was the football team it would be all over the news but this will likely blow up soon. There has already been some reports about him getting picked up as the USA doctor.
