It's not all hyperbole in your sarcasm.

There are two instances that I can remember where it did happen...Rambis getting taken out and Parish cold-cocking Bill Laimbeer.

And...

BOTH were called just REGULAR FOULS.

No intentional, nobody getting kicked out of the game. Just two shots.

Shite, if somebody did what Parish did today, they'd get a 5 game suspension from the league.

And taking out Rambis would've been an immediate ejection from the game today.

Just a fact, no need to get emotional.

Laimbeer got two shots from the foul line for being punched in the face three times.

Chief stayed in the game.

Never happen today.

Chief ejected sitting at home for a week.

Rudy T was nearly killed. This stuff isn’t debatable and yet they act like it didn’t happen. It tells you why they argue the way they do. It also tells you they’ve never watched anything prior to 2007 unless it’s a doctored 2 minute video.

As a lifelong Bron Stan and crusader boy it feels good to see this. When I first started fighting with people it was “he’s not clutch!” “Will never win a title!” The goalposts have shifted so much over the years and now the hill y’all are dying on is “well he’s only going to be #2 in history!”

Wrong it’s not a theory it happened where as what you’re doing is trying to piece together other totally unconnected events and create a theory around that.

What?

My theory is that the Warriors won because they had KD, Steph, Klay and even Draymond (before he fell off) as all stars who played lights out.

Your theory is that that the Warriors had a secret strategy to tire LeBron out by letting him get 34, 12 and 10 per game on 63% true shooting.

We should just agree to disagree.

Wrong that’s not what I said. And if that’s your argument you’re too ignorant to discuss the topic. You’re done

Here's what you said.

Golden state simply ran the Cavs out of gas in that series allowing LeBron to get numbers

Then I posted they had an identical tempo to the regular season and you got metaphysical about how you have to holistically watch things or you can't acquire true knowledge.

I wish sports were back so there was new stuff to argue about.

Idk what you’re getting at.

You said MJ wins because scoreboard and look at recorded history.

So why wouldn’t that apply to Oscar Robertson?

That’s not what you posted, you keep changing your story. My god dude can you be honest about anything? Are you too dumb to understand that pace changes in the playoffs and that Golden States pace went up and isn’t as important as the difference in Cleveland’s? You’re so ignorant and dishonest it’s laughable . You’re literally arguing that team identities and style don’t even exist.

Did they keep score when Oscar Robertson played?

You people can’t stay on topic for a sentence. Everything is deflection and derailment. It’s pathetic. Gotcha doesn’t change facts

Do you watch the games? How did Cleveland steal games in 15? How’d they win in 16? They slowed the games down, Mosgov had double doubles and Delenadova slowed Currys ability to push in 15, they held GS under 100 points in all but 1 win in 16. When Iggy was moved into the lineup in 15 it was to go small and run more and in 18 they made it a point to run the entire time. It was literally discussed and talked about by the players, coaches and commentators during every game. You people have this talent for ignoring reality, thank god this is the only place you can sometimes be the majority

This is incredible circular logic

quote:

Lebron is expected to go out and get them for himself because he wasnt gifted those assets.

No it's because he doesn't like to be coached any way that doesn't conform to his comfort zone, same as Wilt. The whole "team" issue is such a crock as the 2000s progressed, teams don't just win 66 and 61 games in back to back seasons with LeBron and a bunch of "scrubs," clearly they developed into a cohesive unit that played off LeBron yet contributed in meaningful ways. Those "scrubs" progressed to valuable role players for that unit and it worked, basically like MJ and the Bulls his first years.

indicator of greatness, LeBron's a mixed bag when it comes to this, stats don't tell the whole story

quote:

“Will never win a title!”

Same knock on Wilt until he won one, same on Jordan, same on Hakeem, same on Oscar, etc a recurring knock on players with great expectations who don't win titles within their first few years in the league

quote:

The goalposts have shifted so much over the years and now the hill y’all are dying on is “well he’s only going to be #2 in history!”

Goalposts remained the same: it's about dominating, winning championships, and leadership all inextricably tied to performance in the clutch
