I realize there's some financing I'm not addressing, but along with Freeman, these guys seemed to be the "core" of the new Braves. Also, Gattis took McCann's spot for 1 year, and now Gattis is moving to left field. I'm just not sure the Braves are looking long-term and they seem to make impulsive decisions. Frank Wren was also a train wreck with some of the heavy cash he wasted.

Well you were unable to extend heyward, I don't know if his demands were unreasonable, but that's on you guys.
I'm just guessing that Upton priced himself out of atlanta.
I don't understand why you guys signed markakis. It's like you're trying to rebuild, but don't know how.

We acquired 31 yr old Markakis who just underwent neck surgery. $44 million. I don't understand us either. That's not a definition of rebuilding. Guess we'll see.
