So, I live in Washington State and have Charter Cable. Guess what I get? I get the SECN, the SECN Alternate Channel and guess again what I don't get? That's right, I don't get the fricken PAC12 Network. You guys win at networks.

I don't see the problem. You get to watch real football.

Pac 12 needs to give up on the one network for 2 schools idea and consolidate everything into a single Pac12 Net.

its a 100% guarantee that is part of what keeps them off cable/satellite systems.

I guess he could always watch Oregon beat the fricking piss out of Wyoming and South Dakota and then choke on their own nuts when they play Stanford or Zona.

its a major reason why DTV wont carry them.

they don't want to carry 6 regional channels plus a national that simulcasts a good deal of content.

Sorry i've never really paid attention to it.

They have them separated up like regional FSN Networks. So there's a Pac12 LA for SC and UCLA, PAC 12 Arizona for ASU and UA, etc. it's pretty dumb

Larry Scott has definitely crapped the bed with propagating the network.

Luckily people post their usernames and passwords online, so I can watch it on the computer in a pinch

what Shane said.

The Pac 12 Nets are Pac-12 Los Angeles (USC & UCLA), Pac-12 Washington (Washington & Washington State), Pac-12 Oregon (Oregon & Oregon State), Pac-12 Bay Area (Stanford & Cal), Pac-12 Arizona (Arizona & Arizona State), and Pac-12 Mountain (Utah & Colorado). These are similar to FSN regional networks. On top of this there is a "national" channel which simulcasts most of the major content. The regionals have some of their own content but also air much of the national feed.

I don't understand why you wouldn't do just one big network. I would think there would be zero issues with carriage if that were the case

I live in Lacey and get SECN, PAC12WA, but not SECN Alternate with Comcast.

You're seriously telling me you use Charter in Seattle when you have CenturyLink, Comcast, and at least 3 other providers that have both networks?

never

The Pac 12 spent last year bashing DirectTV and telling Pac 12 fans how to switch to Dish.

I'd say it will be a cold day in hell before DirectTV adds them.

Such a powerhouse schedule LSU is playing this year, between Monroe, Sam Houston State and New Mexico State...some tough games there.

You do realize that 5 of the Top 12 are not only in the SEC, but the SEC West? Get your head out of your arse.
