The penalties were bad, ESPECIALLY that unsportsmanlike. The teams were jawing all game, but no reason to do that, especially in front of the ref.

Add that to all the drops Ross had, and he just didn't have a good game. I don't care what Buford says about his 100+ yards on the ground. He had some very costly drops early on. I think the mishandle on the screen pass that was fumbled really changed the game early on.

I also felt like the team responded differently to Tabary and Ashcraft. Seemed like the offense was smoother and blocking better when Tabary was in. ULL's front seven was all over Ashcraft, even when they only sent four.

Our DBs have to get better in coverage too, especially Thomas.

You're such a little bitch
That game was not 8 points close. A garbage time TD doesn't mean the game was close. Before that mcneese had 1 TD. And that TD probably should have been called back for illegal hands to the face when the OL ripped off the DT helmet by his face mask in the middle of the play.
ULL was imposing their will at the end on mcneese in the running game.

Or the stupid penalties extending McNeese drives. The targeting call was weak, period. The game could have been put away, but we decided to throw it in our last possession instead of running the ball like our previous possession.

The talent level isn't remotely close. It's about as big of a gap and the 2 coaching staffs. McNeese has a good one and we have an average one.

You were down 15-14 pretty late in the game.

Those extra 20 scholarships are the difference in the 4th quarter. It was definitely closer than even the 8 pt difference on the scoreboard showed. We were there and had every opportunity to win the game, we just squandered every one of them. We needed perfect execution to win this game and we didn't do so.

For anyone wanting to keep up with Anthony Jennings:

Jennings 4 Heisman

Passing: 15/21 170 yards 1 TD
Rushing: 10 attempts 53 yards 2 TD
