This game would have been more interesting to see if we weren't replacing something like 5 or 6 defensive starters from last year's team. The loss of those guys was very obvious tonight in the lack of physicality by the Cowboys.

We should have beat them by 30. We still have no offensive identity, play calling was better than last week but not good. Elijah McGuire is not Alonzo Harris, so quit running him up the middle, let Jordan Wright settle into that role. WRs need to block and Jennings needs to put a little more zip on the ball.

I thought the targeting call at the end was terrible.

Dude, our defense last year would have made that offense its bitch.

Ya'll caught a weak D and looked good. We've already seen what ya'lls offense does against a good defense.

Maybe by the end of the season our defense will look like the DWA from last year and ya'll will actually look like ya'll did something.

Let's not forget...ya'll beat MCNEESE by 8 points.

8 POINTS!!

Congratulations! Some of ya'lls fanbase is appalled, I'm sure.

Wasn't alive in '79, so I can't speak to that team's abilities.

But, I'm sure they didn't have a converted RB playing DB.

Not concerned about the loss. They are an FBS team, they were SUPPOSED TO WIN. More important games ahead that actually go towards something attainable.

But these insufferable arse-clowns that think they actually did something special just annoy me.

Got yourself all worked up before the game now you're having trouble after the game. Take a breath.

We had one of those once. He ended up being a NFL pro bowl CB.

Dude took one too many hits to the head or somethin. Kept going on at the end of the game about how its not over til the clock hits zero. Then its still not over til the gun goes off. Then it still might not be over.

All because of the way Okie State and Cen Michigan ended...

I don't think so. I think it was pretty evenly matched, UL Lafayette's depth just finally wore down the McNeese defense in the fourth quarter.

Despite the fact the late TD came in kind of a garbage time moment, I still thought the game was closer than 8 points. We left points on the field on that fumble, and we also left points on the board committing dumbass penalties. That's the thing the frustrates me most about McNeese's performance was all the penalties, especially the unsportsmanlike conduct late in the game. Just inexcusable.

UL Lafayette was a solid team and was just too much for our defense. Hopefully we don't have to wait another 10 years to get our revenge.
