Besides basketball, which is FAR secondary to football, UNC doesn't bring much to the table in the SEC. Clearly geography is immaterial now with two LA schools joining a majority midwestern conference. If the SEC is going to poach more teams they don't need to be concerned if they are in the "SEC footprint".

Nope, do NOT want a school full of SJW's who cheated through a phony academic program for 20+ years..and whose football team has not won anything in more than 30 years...

Brand New State means media markets that haven’t been tapped before by the SEC. UNC is a national brand as well.

Using this logic might as well bring in Kansas as well.

The SEC already has a school for the south Carolina market.

The only thing the conference cares about when it comes to expansion are untapped TV markets. Miami makes more sense then Clemson and Florida state and unc/Duke and VT/Virginia make more sense then Clemson and Florida state.

No way the SEC ADs and Presidents would all agree to Miami. If they did I would melt. Do not want.

Y'all need to quit acting like the opinions of 1 person means something is really going to happen. It's the offseason & the media is bored.
SEC is not expanding over 16 teams anytime soon.

also, wrong board

To get in UNC you either have to be a valedictorian or extremely rich. Their sports programs are elite, won a bunch of natty’s in different sports. Football will be better and baseball hosted a super this past year. Big donor base. Better fit than Clemson, IMO.

I would like to add UNC from a basketball/baseball perspective. No worse than having Kentucky, Vanderbilt, or Missouri in here.

this isnt 5 years ago. the streaming market makes new markets irrelevant. its about brands and brands only.

UNC is a huge brand, same with clemson, fsu and miami.

Charlotte and Raleigh dwarf SC market. That's what UNC brings you. Charlotte is also one of the fastest growing cities in the south.

UNC have a great alumni base and are passionate with their sports.
