Pick and roll, fast paced, tempo-setting, D'antoni basketball? At least, that's what they're getting at, although it's certainly not exactly the same. They are willing to play slower, simply because they have to. And opposing teams are doing a decent job forcing them to play slow as well.
Nash turned the ball over a shite ton too. It's a lot of pressure on the point guard in this offense. The team goes as he goes. He has the ball a lot. Defenses have been showing him a ton of different looks recently. They are pressuring him more away from the basket, help defenders are doing a better job stunting, they are trapping ball screens, they are trapping pre-ball screen, they go under screens occasionally, some teams are trying to make him give it up in the backcourt which gives them a shorter shot clock once he gets it back.
He's young and inexperienced. Nash was a great, experienced player, yet he still turned the ball over.
People talk about the turnovers too much. Frankly, I'd be shocked if he wasn't turning the ball over, considering how much it is in his possession.

Raymond Felton sucks. That's the end of that story.
I agree. He is a bum now

Okay, Knicks are 16-16, last I checked the KNICKS won games, not Lin, and in the standings the KNICKS are the only name I see. I thought the Knicks were playing as a team pretty well during their 7 game win streak, Novak and JR Smith were certainly HUGE today as well with very timely 3 point shooting.
So LIN had NOTHING to do with the win today??? You are a COMPLETE idiot.

Exactly, I know at least half of his turnovers today were simply stripped balls or over thrown passes when trapped.
RIGHT NOW. LIN >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>KIDD and its not even close.

Yes I agree he's going to turn the ball over bc of how much he has the ball (46 minutes today) which is also a reason he's going to put up stats in every category.. Any NBA player that plays that many minutes should put up great numbers of they're a guard, but his TO today were in the half-court and seemed to be his own mistakes, he's definitely going to get better but they have to be some what of an issue if he's set a record for turnovers in his first 6 starts and 6 straight with 6+

Its hard to truly rank Lin right now
The only guys I would say are securely ahead of him are Paul, Rose, D. Williams, Westbrook
Nash and Parker are better right now, but are running out of time
Guys like Rondo, Curry, Lowry, Rubio, Calderon, Wall, Irving, Teague, Collison, Holliday, Lawson, Conley, Evans and Jennings you can debate on

His turnovers are definitely an issue but I really am finding the folks saying he isn't very good amusing. I mean for frick's sake. 28pts and 14 assists aint nothing to sneeze at. And it aint like this game was an aberration.
Is he Magic Johnson? Nah. But dayum, some people have gone full retard against him.

Curry and Rondo are absolutely better than Jeremy Lin, come on.

I agree the turnovers are certainly something to look at. I just think people are looking at them too hard.
The Knicks are winning games. They weren't before he started playing. He's changed their whole offensive philosophy. As long as they're winning games, I'm sure they'll live with the turnovers.
And the turnovers will probably also go down when Carmelo comes back, simply because he won't have the ball quite as much.

I wouldn't say absolutely. There are just a ton of really good point guards in the league right now. It's great to watch.

Absolutely so many of them are young with bundles of potential its just to hard to rank them now

He seems to get in trouble when the defense takes away is option to score. Most of his assist come from penetrating the lane and collapsing the defense. Point gurads like Lin, Westbrook, and Rose are hard to stop, but when they can't score the offense grinds to a halt. On the other hand you got the Rondo, CP3, and even Jason Kidd who know how to create without having to score to open up the defense. Lin will get his turnover problem under control, and that will probably happen when Melo gets back in the lineup. How the offense moves when he isn't scoring 25+ a game will let you know how good of a point guard he is.

Rondo is/has always been overrated.

No need to compare lin to these guys. Lin is impressive because he went undrafted asian/went to Harvard. Most of the PGs that were listed were first rounders if not all

frick Rondo. He wouldn't be shite without 3 future hall of fames. Any point guard given that team would succeed
