woah woah woah i never said or implied barkley would fail in the NFL.

he will be the overall number 1 pick this year.. but i still say rg3 goes ahead of him had he came out last year.

The Pac-10/12 is the conference of quarterbacks. Period.

The SEC had the most starting quarterbacks of any conference last year in the NFL. Feel free to ignore facts and continue on with your argument though.

It's not fair though. We had two Mannings come through.

1. Stafford
2. Cutler
3. E.Manning
4. Tebow(Started more games then Orton)
5. Campbell
6. Grossman
7. Newton

That's a pretty good percent not including Peyton who would have been a starter. So project 8 starters and that gives you 25%.

The SEC comes out on top in terms of overall starts while the ACC and Pac 12 have had the most different players start.

USC - 4 has the most quarterbacks in the NFL.

Statistics are flawed and can be twisted however you want. I can say that to be a starter you must have started the majority of the games. Whereas, you can say to be a starter you must start only one game.

Not really a link, but I appreciate it.
Always interesting to know trivia like this.

But, if most starts is a parameter for who counts and who doesn't, Palmer started more games than Campbell at Oakland last year. So you'd have to remove Campbell, leaving the SEC with 6 and the PAC at 5.

PAC last year had.

!. Sanchez
2. Palmer
3. Cassel
4. Rodgers
5. Moore

Also started games but not the most on their roster was Clemens and Locker. And the SEC also had Flynn start for a game, but that was just to rest Rodgers. And I won't count Alex smith since you didn't count Blaine Gabbert.

I'm sure I missed a few for both conferences, but I gotta get back to work.

See I wouldn't count him as he was retired at hte start of the season and only played after Campbell the starter was out for the year.

Yeah, either way, the point is that the Pac-12 is not the "QB Conference" people make it out to be, and the SEC isn't as bad at the QB position as people like to think.
