I've never been bit have two tickets for Tuesday. I've been to Saturday and Sunday tournament rounds.

Is practice worth the drive? Do you see the players? Etc?

Any insight appreciated

Practice rounds are well worth it, but I've never been to a tournament round, so since you've already done that you may not be as impressed. In the end, it's Augusta. I'd go there any chance I got. It's awesome.

I'd drive a couple hundred miles just to drink a beer and walk around Augusta in the middle of winter, and I've been to a ton of tournament rounds.

Very much worth it. Went in '13 and it was great. Marshals will tell you its better than going to the actual tournament rounds, besides Sunday of course.

If you don't want them I will take them

thread hijack,

we went to the 1990 british open at the old course when i was a kid. we walked side by side basically with nicklaus the entire practice round. At the end of his round he signed his glove and gave it to me. it was a memory i'll never forget.

Never mind I got it confused with another tournament that's better to go to. The masters sucks. You don't see anybody, you have to get there at sunrise, walk your arse off, etc etc.

So when you decide you don't want to go I will gladly buy them from you

You don't want to go. I'm not going to give you any reasons because the list is too long.

How much do you want for them?

I've been the last couple of years. Didn't get drawn this year. I would walk from Louisiana if I could go back this year.

I Grew up in Augusta and had the good fortune to attend many practice rounds and a couple of tournament days. Most of the players are absolutely awesome on practice round days. They have fun, sign autographs, and interact with fans. Definitely go.

One of my favorite stories involves Mac O'Grady. At the time, he had a real reputation as being a hot head and Kind of a jerk. I was about 9 or 10 years old and standing next to him, so my dad decides to take a picture. O'Grady sees my dad out of the corner of his eye and yells loudly, " Wait, just a moment!"

My dad thought, along with some gallery patrons, "oh crap, O'Grady is about to flip out."

Instead, he kneels down next to me, asks my name, and not only posed for a picture with me, but signed my hat.

Never walked 18 holes faster than I did that morning. At least we got to see Bubba out on course early.

My good friends cousin is an executive chef there and got us Monday through Wednesday passes so we are going this year.

I'm not even that big of a golf fan, but, wouldn't miss this opportunity for anything.

His cousin also said he is setting us up with passes for evening events. Can't wait!!!!
