Dr. Andrews was paid to give that diagnosis. Sanchez is fine.

What was he going to do? Hold a clip board all year and face questions from the media after every game about how he feels being a back up. While injuries suck, it's in a lot of ways a better alternative for him.

Being a crappy FA QB coming off shoulder surgery isn't a better alternative.

Best for everyone. Now he doesn't have to deal with a QB controversy all year.

Nor does Sanchez have to play in that clusterfrick of an offense

Job saver for Rex. When they sucked with Sanchez, it falls on Rex's shoulders. When they suck with Geno, he can blame the growing pains of a 1st year QB.

That's not exactly how it works in this city.

Something tells me that, exaggerated or not, Sanchez is perfectly fine with that diagnosis.

He knows he won't be back next year so the sooner he can depart the Jets circus and go home for the rest of the year and hit the beach and watch cartoons, the better.

The most inconsequential news I've ever heard in my entire life. Ho-hum. Sorry about your inconvenience Mark. Oh wait, you haven't done shite. Nvm, sucks to be you!

Oh I know......I'm just saying it won't hurt him. He can collect this years money and then be more likely to get signed next year (albeit cheaply) than if he had played

The Jets owe $11.5 million in '14 ($2 million roster bonus, $9 million base, $500,000 workout) the $2 million roster bonus is in March.

Not a doctor but if he has surgery, I doubt his arm will be ready in 6 months, when the Jets have to cut him.

Just a question - what makes any of you think that Sanchez didn't need reps? Do any of you actually watch every Jets game like I do? He is horrible and needed work. Rex did the right thing. Y'all act like it was Peyton fricking manning that got hurt.
