I'm not against it but it's an opportunity of a lifetime for him.. many would love to have the opportunity to walk away with 100+ million one night.. especially if it means larger gloves and against a defensive boxer.

Especially in an exhibition match and not even his sport

He loses no big deal..not like he's risking much here. It's not even going to affect his career or pride.

People will watch like they watched Bobby Riggs/Billie Jean King...

But this time, Mayweather isn't throwing the match like Riggs.

Pac was world class.

McGregor never was, never will be and never will be heard again after this fight.

He's cashing out.

Because nobody wants to watch someone after the veil has been pierced, they've seen the truth. MMA can't hide it anymore once he gets exposed by a boxer.

He will be damaged goods because MMA fans like that illusion that they are the baddest men on the planet.

And nobody will remember that Connor was limited to only boxing and couldn't kick or strangle...they will only remember one thing...

Visually - his arse getting kicked by a superior fighter...and looking like a total goddamn fool.

I hope he retires nicely - because it's over for him...Nobody wants to pay for a fight to watch a fool - even back in the UFC.

You don't have the slightest idea what you're talking about.

Yeah...cool story.

You are the biggest fraud on here claiming Mac is some great fighter compared to world class boxers.

We will see who is right...you or me. But you spout more nonsense than anyone about MMA.

Every single line was horseshite. It's not even worth going line by line. Further evidence that you're completely full of shite.

Easy question for you: These guys go one on one in the street, who wins?

Who says riggs threw the match?
Riggs?
He was old. No power. No zest.

I watched it.

Please tell me you think Mayweather would win with MMA rules.

If Mac gets demolished:

1) Never fight a boxer again

2) Nobody would probably want to see him again in MMA.

Do you know the world we live in? Public humiliation and public perception?

What draw does he have after getting his arse beat?

What is his angle? His angle now is I am so good, I can beat the best boxer on the planet.

What's his new angle after an arse-whooping.

"I'm still a good MMA guy, please please please take me back!"

I applaud the guy, this was his big window. He's cashing in on what he built (and almost lost in MMA) and he'll get his butt kicked and go to retirement like George Foreman in Zaire.

Who the frick would care about seeing this guy after getting his butt-whupped on national TV in front of everyone?

Oh but next fight with nobody you ever heard of - they can kick...get out of here, man. C'mon...come back to reality.

This is the biggest and maybe last paycheck this dude is getting and it's all because of Mayweather and very little to do with Mac.

You know he already got choked out by Nate Diaz, right? He got embarrassed already and he's managed to increase in popularity since then.

You don't have the slightest idea what you're talking about.

Nobody will ever want to watch him fight again. That's some bottom of the barrel dumbass shite right there.

Boxing was always your moment.

MMA is more.

Look at Rousey; she's junk...and she just only got beat by another MMA fighter.

When a boxer destroys McGregor - his phone ain't gonna be ringing.

It's all perception and the moment. And the perception by fanboys like (maybe you?, IDK) will be shattered about MMA boxing skills.

I could be wrong, I think MMA is going to take hit and the pendulum will swing a little back to boxing.

Because most casual fans aren't going to know the rules.

So full of shite. I would bet money you had no idea Conor already got "humiliated" as you put it. Got rocked by Nate Diaz. Got beat on from the mount. Turned his back and got choked. Tapped out.

And his popularity has only increased since then. But losing to FM in a boxing match is going to ruin him.

baaaaahahahaha

You're the one who downvoted in the valid Steffi Graf thread...and her competition vs. Serena's.

Explains a lot. Competition is lost on some.

Hey, Mr. T is still alive; maybe he can fight Floyd too.

Clubber Lang sure looked more bad-arse than Mac ever did.

That's your retort?

You're a fool.

Losing to a fellow MMA fighter, who has never been a championship level fighter, didn't ruin him - 1.65 million PPV buys for the rematch, estimate 1.3 million PPV for the Alvarez fight, lands a crossover fight with Mayweather. But losing to the best boxer in the world in a boxing match is? MMA fans aren't going to want to watch him fight again after he loses? It's clear as fricking day you don't know what you're talking about. But please continue. I like watching people that don't know shite act like they know shite.
