Peyton made enough money to likely buy part of an NFL franchise eventually, which many expect him to do. He already owns parts of the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies.

He does that stuff because it's easy money. He spends half a day filming a commercial for those copper sleeves and they take a few pictures of him. The Favre gets a six or seven figure check. I'd spend a day or two of my life making a commercial for $500,000. I don't give a damn how rich you are.
