Yeah i dont give a shite but happened to see the end of the current tourney.
90% of them are asian
The winner's english was sketchy at best
I love asian people but shite thats not good for the tour that you cant interview them

What's even worse is that it took them 5 times on the same playoff hole before 1 of them made birdie. Christie Kerr's sand game is awful

They were aweful. I actually laughed out loud at Kerr's birdie putt on the fourth playoff hole. She missed the hole by 8 inches from 10 feet away.

The LPGA Tour has a marketing issue - they push out the Americans as much as possible - but the Far East players are just dominate right now.
It is bad when you have a title sponsor that has invested significant amounts of time, money and resources into an event and the winner's English is so bad that there is no quality post round interview / celebration, etc.
A few years ago the LPGA was pushing English hard on the players - and many of them took grasping English very seriously.
The translators are helpful but you lose the emotional connection with the player.
