Louisiana Derby Preview Day?

Buddies and I go to the dog track two or three times a year. I like betting on the simulcast horse races and I noticed that the Fairgrounds will be having a Louisiana Derby Preview Day this Saturday. What is that and how is that different than other Saturdays? Thanks for your time

They will have Prep races that lead up to the Louisiana Derby. Lot's of good horses and Jockeys will be in for this Saturday.

What's the atmosphere like at the Fair Grounds? We've talked about driving over and checking out one of the bigger races. We've been to the KY Derby many times but want to try something closer to home.
