I know Arizona has had a tough schedule. But why not give a team like Kansas st or Houston some love over them or Notre Dame.

All I asked is based on what?

You haven't watchd tech play a snap this year

You're right. No need for me to drive and watch them considering they aren't on my tv.

quote:

They way they played against these teams that were supposed to blow them out is what sticks out.

This is the answer I was looking for.

quote:

Was it disappointing they lost to state, well yeah but they were a 20 point underdog and took it to ot

I was pulling for them to beat State and I generally pull for Tech over all other schools in state(LSU excluded).

Yeah they played 3 top 10 teams back to back to back. The only problem I have is that those are conference games and 2/3 of them were at home.

I really was impressed with ULL this weekend, after watching the Nichols game, I didn't think you guys would be close with FIU

Hud finally named Gautier the starter early in the week and stuck with him and Gautier looked great. The whole offense looked good against FIU, they were only giving up 14 ppg and had beaten Louisville and UCF

I have no idea yet who would win, and considering they are not going to play it is a mute point. It doesn't matter at the end of the year who played the the games the closest, but who won more games. I think Tech has a great program that is still on the rise, and like I've said I usually pull for them over all others in state(other then LSU). That doesn't mean I cannot be objective and say they aren't the second best team this year.

I think they played well against Moo State, but I don't think Moo State took them very serious. They were coming off back to back SEC losses in division and were probably focused on Georgia next week. Tech snuck up on them...not the first time this happend. Look at when ULM beat Bama(07).

I hate Arizona more than any school ever but their 3 losses were all to top 10 teams....they have actually played a much harder schedule than LSU so far.

An on their schedule: We played a team they played and we had a different result. I will say their schedule was harder then LSU's I wouldn't go as far as to say it was much harder.

I agree they suck, but we just dont know how bad yet. I hope they lose every game the rest of the year. I obviously was not comparing them to LSU in any way except for SOS.

Can they at least beat USC this week? After that they can lose out.

Two CUSA teams and an FCS school = a brutal schedule?

Tech was +18 at USM, +7 vs Houston, and +20 at Miss State. That's not brutal, but the experts were still predicting a couple of blowouts in there.

ULM and ULL play, but neither plays LaTech.

@LSU480) I doubt they beat the gay trojans, but I hope they do.

Tech could easily win out and still go bowling. They are a very good team who could very easily be 4-0

They also only beat a FCS team by a TD in OT. You could just as easily be 0-4
