Predicts that Notre Dame will play Florida for the national championship. What an idiot. I don't know how ESPN allows this senile frick on TV.

If LSU can't make it to the championship game, I actually hope this happens. The beating ND would take from florida would be so bad Holtz would die of a stroke right there on national TV.

Well considering Notre Dame is set up every year for them to win 9+ games and they have it in their contract where if they are Top 12 they get a BCS bowl. It is not a wild predicition especially this year. If USC defense/QB struggles and Notre Dame gets by them no reason to think they would drop many other games.

There are some short memories around here. He does this every year and every year some idiot who believes he is serious comes on here and freaks out. Even if they only win 1 game this year, he will come out at the beginning of next year and say the same thing, then someone will start a post about how he needs to be fired because he is an idiot and senile. Yall need to realize that the first letter in ESPN stands for entertainment, not experts.

It is actually having the exact opposite effect on me. Don't get me wrong the man is very accomplished in life. But this whole old-fart-with-crazy-predictions is wearing really thin. When I see him now I can't hit the remote fast enough.
