Most popular brands for the older girls are Demarini, Easton Mako, Louisville Slugger Xeno or LXT. At your age, the swing speed just doesn't justify the really high dollar bats unless you find a used one in good condition in your size.

While I agree the Demarini CF's are a great series, there is no "perfect bat" without the player actually putting it in their hands and hitting balls. There are too many variables. Most long-suffering softball parents have purchased bats that didn't work out. Sometimes it swings heavier than expected, it's end-loaded when they want balanced, it sounds weird, the sweet spot is too small, it's ugly etc. You'll also find out that your daughter will probably ask for the $349 bat that most of the popular players have.

While on the topic, I believe a better bat makes a difference, but so do lessons if she has a passion for the game. Yeah, you could do it but you'll want to strangle each other eventually. Take my word for it. You could coach Team USA and she's gonna cop an attitude. It's a girl thing lol.
