He got a redo because of the penalty, that's benefiting from a screw up

That's not really the point.

Enjoy your meltdown.

You can't decline a delay of game just like you can't decline a false start. The play was dead before the ball was even snapped. You can't decline a nonexistent play.

I wonder why there is not a run-off of time on a delay of game penalty against the offense? There would if it was a holding, correct?

no run-off if the clock wasn't running to begin with

My point is you lost because they let them score a TD out of a 2nd and 34. Nobody wants to address that.

if they decline the penalty then they would just kick again with 4 seconds on the clock.

Delay of game effectively meant no play was run.

You sure are dense....and apparently very butthurt

Damn, how dense are you?

A delay of game means the play never happened, the same with a false start.

Well like two other people said I guess they could have declined the false start, but he would just retry a 42 yarder instead of the 47 yarder. I know you're frustrated, but try and understand how ridiculous you sound by saying that a play that never happened should somehow count.

Holy shite. I gave up when Julio got the 22 yard gain down to our 40. I think we only had a TO left at that point. Even with the 2:00, I thought it was over. Couldn't believe what I saw when I noticed the Yahoo standings had the Lions at 6-2.

Never discount the Falcons' ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

The Falcons are nothing more than a dumpster fire.I hope we lose every game left outside of spanking the clown cakes of nola one more time.

That's it.... My NFL season hopes have been reduced to pettiness.
