German and English are incredibly similar and are considered "sister languages".

I'm sure they do from NFL Europe days. During the last few years of the league's existence, I think the majority of teams were based in Germany.

The Austrian intro video for the NFL might be better.

not really but compared to other European countries its high. Probably second to england. If europe started getting franchises, berlin or munich would be the first city to get one after london and games in berlin and munich would probably succeed. They play various levels of the sport and I think the highest they go is the equivalent of pulling together a group of college intramural teams for a season. However, like Bundesliga, they have tiers to their football leagues. I went to Germany back in the summer of 2014 and went to like their main sport university and listened to some students who play the sport give a presentation on football in Germany

I wish American announcers had that kind of passion and excitement when calling a game.

The only one that does is Gus Johnson.

We aren't there yet. The only city that would probably successfully support a franchise is London and that's because the NFL has really put in the effort and resources. It will need to do the same in other European cities. You'll probably need to see the league put more games in Europe and in different cities before you can talk about actually having successful expansions

Not to mention that Von Miller literally means 'from Miller' in German so they were probably confused as frick for a sec
