The level of play and speed between the two leagues is very different
The Big 12 was a deeper league
Those 7 teams who made the tournament at one point were all ranked top 10 except Oklahoma State who’s highest ranking was 11

the year that Kenyon Martin broke his leg at Cincy is not the same year MSU won, which I believe is the last Big Ten title. Martin was 4-5 years before that

This board has such a weird obsession with college baseball. You'd think it was a huge deal based on how it gets talked up on here. UF won the CWS a few years ago and no one gave a shite.

Sparty was good that year. Cleaves was a good college player and Mo Pete was a shooter. That Iowa State game was really good. MSU has had beter teams since then too, which is odd.
How many times has a Big Ten team been runner up? since then? Illinois, Indiana and OSU since then off the top of my head. feel like there are a couple more.
