We have a group going to the Nebraska - South Alabama game next September. Really looking forward to it. We're staying at the Marriott Cornhusker - apparently the NU players stay here and it looks to be walking distance to bars, campus and stadium.

Have you guys have ever stayed in Lincoln for a Nebraska game? Just curious what you thought of the nightlife, tailgating, etc. Thanks for your time

I've never been but heard that Lincoln is actually a nice city and a good time.

if one is going to a game then who cares what kind of night life exists. If all you want is a night life go to New Orleans and watch your game on the tube.

Lincoln sucks bad.

I was shocked...it's right off the Interstate and you see the stadium and are excited but then realize you are driving into a tiny town. There's like two roads going through town...one South and one East/West.

Like Happy Valley, the town swells on gameday but still sucks for stuff to do.
