interesting....Jesuit about to defeat Rummel in back to back seasons for first time since 96-97 seasons. I played on those teams.

I thought Jesuit would win easily. Rummel is actually better than I thought they were going to be this season. I think two of Rummel better players are out for the season though.

I graduated in 97, and I don't think this is correct. Jesuit went 1-9 in 1996, and the win was against Bastrop, IIRC.
Congrats to Jesuit nonetheless. An undefeated regular season is definitely in reach. AMDG!

1-9 was the 95 football season, class of 96.
96 football season, state semifinals, lost @ Carencro
97 football season, state semifinals, lost @ West Monroe
94 and 98 teams also made it to the semifinals. That 95 season sucked. We weren't good, but we lost a lot of close games.
