My cousin goes to STA.....their house was "rolled" this morning. Lol

My aunt was laughing at it, while my uncle was pissed

I know it has been diluted, but the STA v EA rivalry is a great example of small town rivalries that have had some really good talent come through.

anyone got the CL vs. Destrehan score?

Defense played their butts off. Had two dropped INT's in the first half that would likely have been pick 6's. One bounced off the CL db's hands and went strait into the Destrehan WR's hands and he took it 65 yards for a td. It was 17-7 at Half, but was close to being 21-7 CL at half or something similar.

Second half CL's defense started to wear down. Offense couldn't do anything, had trouble picking up the blitz. When there was protection, WR's dropped some passes and drives stalled once into Destrehan territory.

Week 9 Thibodaux's big Oline vs Destrehan's big Dline should be a battle.

Destrehan will win easily. You need size and speed to beat Destrehan. They've beaten a few very fast teams already and have plenty of size on both sides of the ball.

Calvary had a 2nd and 84 last night. Not sure how many times that has happened? I've never heard of it. Needless to say they did not convert. Did win the game though.

Natchitoches Central was a shell of their former selves. WM did whatever they wanted. WM's top 2 rushers had roughly 10 carries combined, maybe. Good chance for WM to get healthy.

How does that work though when someone has to win and lose in District? Zero sum game, it shouldn't really hurt teams' power points.

well let's assume WM and Ouachita and Ruston beat the hell out of Natch, Pineville, and ASH... what do you think happens?

WM is 1 and will stay 1

Ouachita and Ruston winner will get a home game in round 1

Natch and ASH will go on the road round 1

Pineville falls out

Yeah, just saying the winners should pretty much stay where they were in the rankings because District is zero sum. You're gaining and losing points in previous matchups.

Like you said, you have to keep winning though. NC was miserable. I don't know if they can beat Ruston or ASH. They should beat Pineville. I doubt Pineville wins another game this year.

We'll see, but I think it will be close like last year with Destrehan pulling away late and winning by a TD or two.

Which Thibodaux has more of than any other district team Destrehan will face. Their Oline is huge, and Adair might be the best back in the district.
