that's Booker T. Washington and Green Oaks if you didn't know...

Thursday- last night

Parkview Baptist beat Catholic (BR)... see the 13 page thread below

New Iberia embarrased Westgate 43-7 in a city rivalry... oh how Westgate has fallen from making three 5A semifinals in 4 years

Jesuit 44, John Ehret 12... another once-mighty program has fallen on hard times

Sterlington upsets Oak Grove 18-14... might OG be in trouble without their OG?

Jeryl Brazil gets a 39-19 win vs. St. Thomas Aquinas from Hammond... being the best team from Tangipahoa usually means you're pretty good

Thinking about making the Airline/Neville game.

Airline has been playing really well this year, but against shite competition. This will be the first true test.

I'll be at the Central game. Hope it's a safe game. Last year a kid for the gators got destroyed and was taken off by ambulance.

I'll be at WM vs Carroll. Could be a better game than expected with Carroll's spread.

I wonder how many fights there will be after the game tonight/this weekend (or have already happened this week)

Will be at Destrehan/Dutchtown.

Dutchtown is pissed after losing on all those special team errors, but they're also looking ahead to St. Amant and EA the next two weeks. And the other teams Ascension have a chance to beat them this year.

I'm gonna take a wild guess that both teams are predominately black schools.

West St. John also beat Capitol last night. Score was 34-20, but 14 of Capitols points came at the end of the game.

oauron that would be the East St. John Wildcats, not the West St. John Rams

Rummel has a dillemma on their hands... they sit at 3-0 right now with their QB Damian Williams anywhere between 50% and improving... One bad hit with him in the game can wreck their state title hopes, but he affects games so much with pretty long passes that Rummel is not known for

here is their remaining schedule...

Holy Cross
Thibodaux
West Jeff
Chalmette
Jesuit
Brother Martin

if i was Jay Roth, i'd hold him out until round 1 of the playoffs to have him at 100% when it really counts. They can win at least over Thibodaux, us, and Brother Martin without him to finish 6-3 at worst and get in. If you play him, you might beat HC, WJ, and Jesuit but risk an injury killing your title chances

Chalmette plays Warren Easton after shockingly dominating Lakeshore last week, with the Owls running out to a 33-0 lead and the Titans making it look respectable against backups. Lakeshore had lost close games against two other 5A schools to open the season, and only lost 14-13 to a better Owls team last season.

Warren Easton brings some talent here though, even though we crushed them last year

it might be in the Owl's best interest for you to stay away from Bobby Nuss Stadium again this week
