CHSNI lost to Calvary by 1 in the semis last year. They are very good trust me.

If brad stoma was playing I assure that notre dame would've won.

Meh, CHSNI was up 21-0 before Notre Dame touched the ball a second time. Catholic reviewed the opening kick, eventually punted and downed the ball inside the 1. Notre Dame went three and out, and Catholic scored on their ensuing drive. They then recovered two consecutive pooch kicks and scored TDs. It got ugly quick.

Don't get me wrong, Stoma is legit, but I don't believe he could have won the game with the way Catholic executed on offense. Despite being a 28 point blowout, the game wasn't even that close.

Catholic NI steamrolls Notre Dame - Daily Advertiser Article

According to the article, Catholic rushed for 335 yards, including 100+ from the QB, Pellerin the Ole Miss commit, and 100+ from Pierre the tailback. They scored TDs with 5 different players, and this was all in the first half alone.

True, but Teurlings pulled out all the stops trying to win that practice game. It certainly didn't feel like practice that night, and I can assure you that Sonny didn't take it lightly. It is nice to see TCHS playing so well since that game though.

Drew Brees could of been the QB for ND and they still would of lost

I have seen several teams that went on to win state titles get mauled in jamborees and more get mauled in scrimmages

Only real games count

As much as I hate to say it Destrehan is going to steamroll Hahnville; especially if Salt won't throw the ball. Tigers have lots of beat up running backs, some good receivers, and a QB who can throw the ball but I'm sure we'll see the run and fumble show.

Oh yeah I forgot, no kicking game either.

Sure, the game doesn't count and I don't believe any team is hanging their cap on it, but your mistaken if you think either team took that jamboree lightly.

I also believe TCHS has gotten better since then, as has Catholic NI.

Regardless, I'm looking forward to the Catholic NI - Calvary Baptist rematch in the playoffs. Hopefully it is in the Superdome this year, as it should have been last year. Catholic should be undefeated until then and will have the #1 or #2 seed in the division, with Calvary at the other spot.

On a side note, where does Brent Indest fit into the high school coaching annals in Louisiana? The guy just wins everywhere he goes. Very impressive coach IMO.

I actually think Hahnville's contrast on the offensive side of the ball can help them keep the game within reach. Destrehan should be able to handle them, but these games are usually fiery and close.

Saders gonna get to 5-0!!!

For those that have been watching them what kind of prospect is Jake Broggi at QB? From just looking at stats and clips he looks like the best QB prospect we've had in a very long time
