WM went out and scheduled 4-5 similar offensive style teams to Landry Walker to start the year. Obviously not quite as talented. 4-0 without our head coach. If Jerry is back and we still look sloppy in a few weeks, then I'll be concerned. For now, take the win and move on.

LHSAA week 4

we broke a school record tonight with 67 points tonight against Grace King... Us and Ehret next week will hopefully be a great game

That is going to be a track meet next week. Should be a good one to watch if you are a fan of offensive football.

Game against Neville next week is going to be a nail biter. I doubt it is anything like what we saw in the jamboree.

Slade will need to win that game with his arm. Truly the biggest test yet.

McCarty found the pulse last week against a decent Ouachita team that smoked Carencro on the road tonight.

They say their big defensive tackle moved back to offense and have a junior quarterback who is fast as greased lightning.

If WM goes in there and whips them next week you can rest assured WM will be just fine come playoffs.

Fully expect Neville vs WM to be a great game. It always is.

I look to Neville running that mule train offense and giving different looks out of that to shorten the game.

I still don't think their defense is fast enough to slow down WM offense.

Having Arledge back will mean a world of difference. That was one sloppy game tonight without question.

It had a weird flow. WM jumped out 21-0, which has happened often this year. Then get a little lax and the opposing team hits some big plays, then BOOM it's a game. Hopefully Arledge cleans that up.

Could not say it better. That is exactly how it has gone.

Playing at home also has been beneficial.

Next week that fast start will be pivotal if the game moves fast. #63 can't be playing next week on the edge against Neville's two mammoth tackles. Swanner did not look ready tonight at all unfortunately and his size is needed for next week as neville's interior linemen are HUGE. Hutchinson better be ready next week.

I no doubt believe and know McCarty and his staff will see everything we see and more and will take full advantage.

Nice to see Chalmette's coach call off the dogs, when they were up by at least 40...

GK's isn't exactly a football powerhouse, and the Owl's coach should've known better... They're HS kids for Christ sake...

Neville has no playmakers on offense other than Riley. Rebels by 21

Yep, since when they went co-ed...

But you would think an all girls school going co-ed could at least put it together in 36 years... Riverdale kind of did it..

well we did... Running clock at 46-0, and I'm pretty sure our backup qb scored the last td. Idk, I wasn't there

I'm sure they won't hold back in soccer

No way this rebel team wins by 21. They have a lot to clean up and will be lucky to squeak a win out.

It will be tough for Neville's “little ol’ rag knots” but they will give it their all and hopefully the tigers can keep it close

How's that General

I've been to all the West Monroe games this year and they are struggling on the offensive line, the defensive backfield and tackling in general. There's no way I would pick them to blow out a rival like Neville.

Actually, I would start the Kahmann kid at QB and move Bolden all over the place.

I have no idea what you are talking about with the offensive line. The offense is very good this year if not the best since 2000 or 2005.

Everything is defense right now. Just too young and too slow. It will be offense that wins a championship this year if that happens.
