here's an unintended consequence of the LHSAA's rule change regarding power points. we get more power points for a Rummel win than a Brother Martin win Saturday since Rummel will end with 9 games played
if BM wins= 8 points from BM, 7.777777 from Rummel
if Rummel wins= 7 points from BM, 8.8888888 from Rummel
if you look at some of the margins from last year between seeds, that 0.11111111 might make a difference whether we get in or get left out

Rumor is Belle Chase might have to forfeit some games, supposedly a kid transferred from Shaw to Belle Chasse and he was to old to play and Shaw turned them in. Belle Chasse is 7-2 and I thought they had a chance to get to the quarters. Nothing official yet though.

Also it looks as if they are playing McD 35 tonight, score is 22-22 in the 4th quarter.

Rumor is true (about the player not the forfeits), but Belle Chasse self reported it. Investigation is still on going as of right now.

There is one great game in Morgan City tonight CCMC vs. Vermillion Catholic. VC is 9-0 and CCMC is 8-1. Trev Faulk is the head coach of VC and it looks like he turned that program around.
I will be at STM vs. Cecilia for STM's Homecoming. STM is gonna roll the dawgs. (STM Class of 2010)
And Lester I'm just still mad about you saying that STM will not win in the dome because they have too many white boys. I also heard from a good source that Liggins is committing on Wednesday.

Breaux Bridge plays Northside, which should have been a decent game but obviously breaux bridge has alot of talent.
In terms of best matchup, Eunice plays church point for their district championship
U can pick up a daily advertiser and they will have the games and where they are at.
Hopefully u eventually do get to see Acadiana play, that'll mean we have made to the quarters or semis or maybe even the dome

I was talking to a guy, this morning, I think he works chain gang or down box for Shaw games; he was friends with my dad. Said both Belle Chasse AND St. Aug. are having to forfeit two games each.
Now that's what HE told me. Don't know how true that is, but that Shaw may be guaranteed a spot, or a better spot next week.
Too bad Rummel and Shaw didn't reschedule. That game should always happen.

Leaning towards Carencro/Sulphur to see just how good Carencro is. Might see Breaux bridge just to be able to compare to Neville.
