I have seen that sign at several games for different schools. Really not that big of deal.

n. How do you call offensive PI when the corner back never turns around and runs into the receiver
the db no longer has to turn towards the ball in HS been that way for 3 years. If the receiver initiated contact then it is OPI. did you have the same view as the official that threw the flag? I bet not.

It amazes me how many people don’t know pretty basic rules. Sure it doesn’t happen that often but you should know the situation. Once the punting team touches the ball in any way the return team gets a free shot with no consequences.
unless the returning team commits a foul after the first touching.

yes many do not under stand this rule just like the muff crossing the goal line rule is a touchback not a td or safety or that K cannot advance a kick

Nothing unusual for Kathy and The Meadows. The biggest thug/crime area not known outside of Crowley.

What starters are injured for Zachary? I know they have been battling injuries on defensive front seven. Are the three lb’s still healthy?

McClure did not play last night. The other 2 regular starters at lb played. Not sure who else was out in the front 7.

I take it Lakeshore couldn’t do anything on offense. I was shocked to see that Lakeshore was shut out.

It was hard to tell how good Lakeshore was all year, since they did not play anyone with a pulse until Neville. I hope that they start scheduling better teams next season.

I'd bet a grand on that and never think twice about it.

Louisiana should do like California and after all the state championships have been determined host an “open division championship” pitting the #1 vs #2 team in the state irregardless of classification. It wasn’t necessary before the private/public split but I think it would be useful now.

I’d go for that and I’d bet there would be tons of sponsors. I would love to see Catholic high skulldrug by WM. A Curtis ( after THEY skulldrag Catlick) be U High would be tremendous.

There has been talk of a bowl game type of thing - not all parties are interested....

In fact some of these "power teams" in different classes/divisions are not even scheduling each other when hey can....talk of resuming something like Hap glaudi classic

Goes nowhere

Catholic wouldn’t be in it this year. It’d likely be West Monroe vs U-High assuming both win their state titles.

7 for Lakeshore is legit. They did not have much else. They could not block Neville D-Line.

I don’t know if you guys got the details of EA-Ehret:
EA blocked a field goal up 17-15, to lead 24-15 with 5 minutes left. Ehret throws a pass after a drive that’s deflected and caught for a TD. EA gets the ball, gets one first down and punts it back the Ehret. With 50 seconds left, Ehret’s QB gets hurt ( Ehret coaches don’t know the kid has to sit out a play, lol). The hustle and put in another kid who throws a Hail Mary where the back judge gets in the way of the defender which is caught for the winning TD.
Ehret had athletes all over the field, but are absolutely terribly coached. No discipline and seriously look like they’re playing sandlot.

Marcus is. A solid guy and a very solid coach, not sure what he has staff wise. You have to realize what kind of coaching and discipline those kids get prior to arriving at ehret and at home.

Also if a penalty was involved in the qb injury many coaches forget they still have to sit a play

Or they attempt to sneak them in

Thry have been without two starting defensive ends Selders and Hayes and also Todd McClures son, Maverick for weeks.

It will bust their nutz against Desty. #55 Is not as athletic as McClure and they need more speed off the edge to contain Emery and Edwards.

I have no idea why they havent played. None.

But if they happen to go to Hahnville, to Acadiana, and to Destrehan in consecutive weeks and win all 3 you have to be somewhat impressed.
