Top half of the 5A bracket is tough. St. Paul's, Landon Collins, West Monroe, and Westgate (who ALWAYS makes a run)

Much, much tougher than the lower half (Byrd, Jesuit, Carencro) IMO

The bottom half is much tougher and have way more depth.

Why did grace king not play a single game within that district? They played all Out of district games

They played in an Independent league with other teams who havent been competitive. Thomas Jefferson, Fisher, and Ben Franklin.

Hey Kenny Henderson......frick you and your piece of shite organization.

You penalized kids who did nothing wrong, earned everything up to this point, and your organization fricked up.

At least we (STM) wouldn't have to travel far unless we are away in the quarters then we would be home. I would rather play at Clark field than going play in North LA. Go Cougars!

If that scenario would play out there's no way they have that game at Clark. The regular season game at STM was overflowing and Clark just can't handle that kind of crowd.

Or did they not have to forfeit?

they might as well hand whoever comes out the bottom half of 3A the trophy when they show up to the dome... thats an extremely tough half of a bracket...

Just looking at the 4a bracket, Breaux Bridge the 4 seed got a cake walk to the semis, while STM and Neville got stuck in tough brackets.

N. LA and the Laffy area have gotten so much better at HS FB since Katrina. N. LA has an outside shot at a sweep with Byrd/WM, Neville, Farmerville, ECA/Calvary and OCS/Haynesville.

They run the spread and have a pretty good QB. I think Feaster is their coach and he's been everywhere and done a good job.

Stupid question - does higher seed automatically play a home game in the second round?
