Lets discuss the bandwagon fan

I have a friend. 29 years old...here are his teams
grew up niners fan... became patriots fan 2002
was a usc fan, until 2 years ago... now diehard fsu fan
lakers fan... doesnt watch much nba now because they suck
duke fan in basketball
yankees fan
he is big into soccer, and when world cup goes on he is a germany fan... never been go germany, and isnt german.
also, he has never once been to any of these teams games to watch them.
Is he a bandwagon fan?

They followed these teams because they are powers. They have no favorite players from the 80's or 90's, because they didn't know they existed.

I have a friend who claims to be a fsu fan and trashes lsu but he can't tell me the name of the qb who started for fsu against clemson or the name of a single qb on their roster

I am a Juventis follower (casual) but only reason was they were in a Champions League final and I liked their jerseys. Plus, when I found out they were from Torino it was a plus.
I know people that follow teams because of uniform color and that is it. Who cares if they cant name a player, at least they watch the game and enjoy it.

He sounds like a pretty shitty friend anyway, you should probably cut bait with him. He seems like the guy perpetually with no job always hitting you up for cash and blows all his money on pot and X box.
