Sports writers bitching that the fans wanna see the best ppl on the field so benching him is bad. I'm like frick ya'll the fans want him to keep the batting title! Keep his arse out and keep that title. He earned it.

Difference is that one guy is getting ready for the playoffs, though, and actually has a reason to be sitting out. I get both sides, just think he should play personally.

DJ earned it by playing more games. The other guy doesn't play, regardless of injury, then DJ doesn't need to.. he's already played more games.
I'd like to see the comparison of atbats and hits as well though. Here is what I see
DJ - 552 AT BATS 192 hits
Murphy - 530 AT BATS 184 hits

Well there is no difference if you're looking at cells on a spreadsheet. But there is a major difference in resting a game in June and sitting out the last game so as not to risk losing a title.
