Anyone surprised by this? I thought he was getting close to hanging it up.

Man, he is getting more and more painful to watch out there. Loved watching him as much as the next guy, but he's had a great run and it's time to hang em up. Last season felt like a farewell season to me anyway.

Agreed, there were multiple times were you could tell he was really struggling. The other guys do a great job trying to help him through those moments.

He was struggling when he came to the LSU/Bama game this past season.

To see him off to the side during the breaks was sad to see.

Not hating on Corso, but after his stroke (strokes?), he can barely manage a coherent sentence. The dude needs to go. It's painful to watch.

I agree. I was thinking they could just bring him out for the last 10 minutes to do his mascot pick. I don't know if he would be above that, but it's sad watching him fumble over his words sometimes.

It's rough watching him sometimes, but I'm sure he thrives off the crowds and environments each weekend. I don't blame him for wanting to keep going.

As long as he's back, can we stop with the video tributes to him at least? It seems like Tom Rinaldi has made it his personal mission to make Corso cry over the last couple of years.

Corso's prediction schtick originated when he placed Ohio State's Brutus Buckeye headgear on his head prior to a Penn State-Ohio State matchup. He is 193-101 at picking winners. His 300th headgear pick will come during week six of the 2017 season.

I would guess its a one year deal to reach this milestone

It may be sad for us, but his feelings are the only ones that matter. My guess is that he doesn't want anybody to feel sorry for him, as he wouldn't trade that seat for anything.
