All my buddies and I fell in love with him. Our parents would take us to his high school games and it was like watching an NBA All-Star game to us. If you can't understand why someone in a situation similar to mine felt betrayed when he left like he did, then I don't know what to say. He was by far the biggest sports idol I've ever had and then it felt like he spit in my face. It will always make me look at him differently.
No matter how many people try and give you shite for this, I agree with you completely.
