O.J. Simpson has gone from jailbird to law-and-order crusader.

The famous ex-con took a pro-cop stance Thursday when he backed an Ohio officer who fatally shot a knife-wielding teen and ripped into NBA star LeBron James for a tweet that named and shamed the lawman.

“The police guy had no choice, he responded,” said the Juice, who in 1995 infamously beat criminal charges that he himself used a blade to hack his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her pal Ronald Goldman to death.

One of the funniest little parts of this is imagining how mad the dead girl's family is with OJ now. They might have danced with joy when he was acquitted but now they have the guy who decapitated his wife saying their teenager had it coming.

I have always read from people around him that he has a really high IQ.

I've already said I don't think he's a moron intellectually. But it's one thing that his aquantences think he's smart and another saying he has a legendary IQ. Regardless, I do think he's extremely ignorant on plenty of topics he chooses to discuss and has very little self-awareness of his ignorance. And I know this because I hear what he has to say on topics.

on a basketball court. JFC, is it your goal in life to be completely obtuse about every topic you discuss? And despite what that article says, his greatest weapon is being an athletic freak. Yes, he's a smart player, but he is who he is mostly because of his god given athleticism.

Yes, this is the same guy who thinks James Harden is the greatest player and defensive player in the history of the game

so bc he is smart at his job, that happens to be a game, it disqualifies him?

What about chess players, poker players, quarterbacks, etc? Who have earned the title of being “smart” for being good at a game.

oh I don’t think it is that high. I believe 140 is 99.9 percentile.

Are you really trying to compare chess players to basketball players? I genuinely think you are a dumb person

Where did I say that? You just haven't provided anything that qualifies him as having a legendary IQ

No one earns the title of being smart solely from playing a game. How good they are at a game doesn't qualify or disqualify someone from being intelligent. You seem to think that some of his buddies saying he's smart makes him one of the smartest people on the planet, which is insane, but you do you

Easing up on the hyperbole whenever you post would do yourself a lot of favors.

Remember you're engaging with a person who thinks James Harden is the greatest player and defensive player in the history of basketball, it's clear Boom's a troll

Here is the thing, there is many layers to Intelligence.

Book smart, street smart, emotional intelligence, etc.

Since you don’t like the guy, you ignore the areas he is clearly smart in and focus on where he may not be as smart.

Even though I don’t care for the guy, I will
Not sink to that level. I’m not the kinda guy. I can not like someone and still say they smart.

For the umpteenth time, I never said Lebron was dumb But there is a big gap between being dumb, being smart, and being one of the smartest people on earth. This has zilch to do with whether I like the guy. I already said I think he's probably a smart guy. But you can't help yourself but to put him in a group with the most intelligent people on earth. I can assure you I interact with people far more intelligent than Lebron on a daily basis, and I'm not even going to pretend to say they're among the brightest people ever. So when you say he has legendary intelligence, just try to tone down the hyperbole or no one is going to take you seriously (which I hope you have enough self-awareness to know people don't). As for his business acumen, you referenced Buffet. Do you think a guy like Buffet, Mark Cuban, or the like would ever ask Lebron for advice on an investment/business deal or do you think it would be the other way around? You don't need to answer that question, it was rhetorical.

Hyperbole

So if Cuban wouldn’t ask someone for their advice it means they cannot have great business acumen I get it now.

Do you just create arguments that weren't made when you are backed into a corner? This has been your deflection mechanism for pages now.

I can link 20 articles about people raving about how smart he is. Certainly legendary in the circles he runs in.
