No, he is not. It's all about this writer trying to get attention. If Lebron played in the 80's-90's and Jordan was playing now, you would be reading the opposite of this. Blows my mind how people jump on these things.
I am old enough to have watched all of Jordan & Lebron's careers and Jordan is better. Also love watching Lebron play, he is one of the top players to ever play. He's just not the top guy.
Plus, this guy would take Kawhi Leonard over MJ as a perimeter defender. He is just sitting back watching the clicks on his page. Guy is a hack, but so are most "sports writer"

as am i.. and i have said i would take mj, but im not sure its as clear cut now as it was 3-4 years ago. There are alot of things bron does much better than mj. Give it another 4-5 years and we may be saying Lebron is the clear best ever. Give it 20 years and you may hear Jordans name tossed in like you do kareem and magic now. The younger guys now could have bron in the same realm as mj is in our eyes. Its all a matter of perception. Again, if i had to pick one it would in fact be jordan, but Lebron has closed that gap and could pass it in the near future. Nostalgia sometimes doesnt want us to let go...

jordan was a much, much better mid range shooter. jordan's 15-20 jumper was automatic.
jordan was 5x a better defender. he didn't take defense off. ever
lebron is a better passer and probably a better rebounder as well
jordan however had an X factor that you just could not teach or measure. He had probably the most killer instinct of any player of any sport i've ever seen.

lebron is bigger, faster, stronger, smarter, and all around better than MJ. Just turn on the TV and watch a game for yourself. Leave the bias out of it and it is very simple to see.

jordan made nba first team defense 9 times including 3 times when he was over the age of 35.
lebron hasn't made nba first team defense in 2 years and he will never do so again
jordan also lead the lead in steals 3 times. lebron has never lead the lead in jack shite on defense but flops
so yeah. even after his prime jordan would clamp down the other teams best offensive player
when pippen and jordan wanted to turn the heat up it was pretty much game over.
