Yes. It absolutely is.

LBJ will never be as good as MJ. MJ never lost 3 finals.
Awesome. The ole retard who beleives losing in the first round is better. Classic retardation maneuver

Ya staying "loyal" living in L.A. and playing with losers like Abdul-Jabbar, Worthy, and Shaq was hard.

So what you're saying is he stayed loyal. He got lucky and landed in a great spot. But point is he was still loyal.

If Lebron had stayed in Cleveland despite the players he had around him, he'd probably be more loved than MJ. But he didn't. Fans appreciate loyalty despite the circumstances around you. When you're easily the best player in the league and you willingly leave a team that is pretty much considered your hometown, you have to expect to be hated for the rest of your career. That's just common sense.

So MJ gets bonus points for not making it to the finals in 9 of his 15 seasons? I've never understood how it's worse for Lebron to get to the finals and lose, than it is for MJ to get eliminated before the finals.

Damn, the hate is so strong in this thread. Negative posts and downvotes galore. Pity, people can't appreciate greatness when it's right in front of their eyes.

I think the Warriors will win the first two, then steal one in Cleveland, and finish it off in Oracle. Without Love, I just feel like the Warriors are a better team. This isn't some outlandish feeling

I suppose you hate the story of the prodigal son as well.

They also appreciate redemption stories. Stories of personal growth and maturity. Realizing - after mistakes - where your loyalties really lie, and acting accordingly.

So you really think the majority of NBA fans will think of this as a redemption story. They like redemption stories but not when they're the ones that got burned.

When he made the decision to jump to Miami, he guaranteed that he would never be as loved by fans as MJ. Now whether he actually cares about that or not, I don't know but it is what it is.

If he wanted to be the clear GOAT in NBA fans' minds then he should've stayed in Cleveland. He'll probably win more championships the route he went though.

Yes anyone able to deliver a title to that dump is the GOAT. Seriously.

He is also in the east. Now if he dominates the Warriors like he did the Hawks I might be impressed.

Warriors are a streaky team....ala Game 3 against the Pels...they can turn it on quick and get hot, doesn't take much...The Pels should have possibly won 2 games against the Warriors...Memphis didn't match up well with GS so that's where the Warriors thrived, and in the current series Houston was up 16 in Game 1? then coughed it up and GS came back to win a close one...HOU may play hard and not be such an easy out, I was shocked when they came back against the Clips...I'm not trying to say GS wont have a chance or that I am 100% on board CLEVE winning, CLEVE is just hot right now in all aspects, and this is without Kyrie....Kyrie now having 8 Days off to recoup...that will be HUGE....

It will make for a great series...

In meaningful games this season Love didn't play the 4th quarter...then he gets hurt and they don't skip a beat?

Get outta here....Love may come back 1 more year so he can get paid in 2016...but I also can see him going join the Lake Show or go to Portland(where he's from) when Aldridge leaves to go to Dallas/San Antonio

I hope you're right. I don't have a dog in that fight, but I enjoy watching LeBron and Curry.

If this dude ever wins one for cleveland, i see many tears, flailing arms, maybe some laying on the ground, bunch of cliches about his teammates, they'll probably shuttle out an orphanage of kids onto the court, probably a mid thigh limp for exaggeration, and probably a snotty nose to humanize him on camera.

For a GREAT sports city starving for a championship, has there ever been a better story in sports? If Lebron can deliver a title to a city that hasnt felt glory in 51 loooooong years, will that put Lebron at the top? Is winning one title in Cleveland a game changer for his legacy? Being a hometown kid and lifting an entire region and fanbase from its knees of futility is such a great story. If there is ever a time, the time is now! For all the jokes, negative comments and heartbreak, Cleveland has remained loyal to its franchises. 51 years is long enough! No excuses, get it done and earn it!

I must say, even I am coming around to the guy. His comments on the latest police shooting about not being violent earned a lot of respect from me. He's a good father to his children, and a winner. I used to be a strong hater, but I just can't find a reason to hate anymore.

Fans loved the story of Josh Hamilton, and all of his problems were his own doing.

The team is clicking right now so I think they win in 6 games...

Game 1 - Steal riding the roller coaster of being hot (CAVS)
Game 2 - Warriors bounce back, Steph and Klay are hot and combine for 60 pts (Warriors)
Game 3 - Cavs win by 12 (CAVS)
Game 4 - Cavs win in OT (CAVS)
Game 5 - Warriors win by 8 (Warriors)
Game 6 - Cavs win on their home court (CAVS)

This is incredibly detailed.

he almost messed around and averaged a triple double in a CONFERENCE FINALS...

He didn't get it because he didn't play the 4th quarter of game 4 because they were up by 25...

I love how the haters use this as a crutch. He was hated by the irrational morons way before this
