He's not as good as MJ, but he's far better than Kobe.

Kobe shot 6-24 in a game 7 of the finals.

Think about what people would have said if LeBron shot that poorly in a game 7.

No way he's worse than Kobe. The stats prove this.

If LeBron shot 6-24 with almost as many TOs (4) ad TOs, I bet you would be criticizing LeBron and talking about how he wouldn't have that championship without Gasol, Odom, Artest/MWP, and an old Fisher.

Don't forget about Kobe's 39 point loss to Boston in an elimination game.

Let's not bring up Kobe here he has his own fair share of awful Finals performances.

Turns out playing with a top ten all-time player in his prime helps anyone look better.

He did. BUT the double standard is ridiculous.

LeBron being back the Heat and goes 32-11-10 in Game 6 (somewhat subpar game too) then goes 36-13-4 in Game 7 AND all of the focus is how Ray Allen won the series for them.

LeBron is better than Kobe. The absurd confirmation bias with selective memory doesn't negate that Kobe played significantly worse in the Finals, playoffs, and in regular seasons.

who is saying that kobe is better than lebron? That conversation has been over for years. And it's not like lebron has benefitted from a double standard as well. People want to laud him for his finals last year while crucifying kobe for not being very efficient in his finals

Seriously? It was the second reply.

You mean when LeBron had an EFG% of 0.431.

Kobe's AVERAGE across 7 finals is 0.432. Compare that to Lebron's 0.493 (not including this year) across 6 finals. In their 3 peat, Shaq probably played better than MJ's best finals for THREE straight years.

LeBron has played considerably better than Kobe in the finals. In fact, Kobe probably provides a great example why the ring argument is only even partially applicable to MJ.
