So to recap:
I said Hakeem was out of his prime for his second title. I was right.
I said Shaq outplayed Hakeem in those second Finals. I was right.
I said Hakeem's supporting cast was the difference for him. I was right.
Y'all have a good night and don't forget to frick yourself on the way out.

Except for the fact that Hakeem couldn't shut down Shaq on his own at all (double teams didn't help either), and Shaq shut Hakeem's arse down (Made him shoot under 42% when matched up one on one).
Shut him down??? He scored over 30 points a game in EVERY SINGLE GAME of the NBA Finals and was the MVP. How many other players in history have done that?

So The Dream had a WAY higher FG % when double teamed?

Is this a serious question? Because Shaq was the only player on the Magic that guarded Hakeem, right?

He shot under 42% against him! 42% A center! Shooting under 42%. When you are a center guarded by another center and shoot 42% while your opponent shoots over 56% on you, it doesn't matter how many points you score. You got your arse owned.
As for your question, Jordan did it in 93. Averaged 41 ppg on 51% shooting. A guard had a higher shooting percentage than a Center. Tsk tsk tsk.
Speaking of Shaq, he averaged 38 ppg on 61% shooting in the 2000 Finals. Also scored over 35 in each of the 4 games of the 2002 Finals. I'm sure there are others, but I've already made a prison bitch out of your point, so why bother?

In 1998, Jordan shot 42.7% and Malone shot 50.4% in the Finals. Jordan took 45 more shots than Malone over six games. Jordan averaged more points per game - 33.5 to 25.0. Malone averaged more assists (yes), more blocks, and WAY more rebounds than Jordan. The Bulls won the series.
According to your exact logic, Malone outplayed Jordan.

Remind of how many times they guarded each other.
What next? You going to compare Tony Parker to LeBron James in the 07 Finals? What about Shaq and Chauncey in the 04 Finals?
You are comparing apples to Honda Civic hubcaps and think you have some big gotcha moment when in reality, you showed how stupid you are.

Why didn't Shaq guard him more?

Why didn't Hakeem guard Shaq more? Why didn't Hakeem guard Shaq better? Why did Hakeem let Shaq make him only shoot 41.3% when Shaq was guarding him?

LUL WUT? Shaq has said on many occasions that Hakeem beat his arse.

The #1 story that came out of that Finals was Olajuwon outplaying Shaq!
Nick Anderson was the big story the first game.

i'd say the 04 pistons were more talented top to bottom than the 11 mavs. the mavs would have the best player in dirk, but i'd say that billups, hamilton and prince are easily the next 3 best. you could also make an argument that you would rather have a prime rasheed wallace than kidd or jet. ben wallace, while horrible on offense, was also a defensive player of the year.

Neither of your stats are conclusive that one outplayed the other. All that is clear is that they were both the best and go-to players on their team.

I was a Orlando Magic fan growing up and was demoralized when the Rockets beat them. I think I can say that Hakeem was the victor of that battle. I still have newspaper clippings from their run to the Finals.

It's a fact Hakeem outplayed Shaq in the 1995 NBA Finals. What's next you think Robinson outplayed Hakeem in the WCF?
