When is the last time they won a major postseason game? Why do they constantly receive sooo much hype despite never accomplishing anything at all?

Prob because the team is 2-5 and yet there are five threads on the front page discussing them.

Thx for your interest in mediocrity

They are a lot of Catholics second favorite team and a lot of other people hate them, kind of like the Cowboys.

TV (and ND and the Cowboys) don't care if you watch to see them win or you watch to see them lose.

Their bowl record sucks because they are always overslotted at least 1 level. They maybe could have won the lowest BCS bowl that year they didn't belong in the championship with Alabama.

They beat LSU in a 2014 bowl game. That had to be a big win because According to most on this site LsU always had the best talent in college football.

Notre Dame is, and will always be, a premier coaching job.

The only reason they beat LSU is becaus the refs missed an obvious TD on a fake field goal.

There's 3 schools that can claim 11 or more National Titles.

And they don't cheat at the count like some.

They will always get attentiom in a sport obsessed with history and tradition.

eh 4 titles in the semi modern era of football and 0 since we have had legit national title games.

titles before 98 shouldn't carry as much weight considering at one point they were awarded before bowl games and then when bowl games were for national titles very rarely did the top 2 teams match up.
