Wat? Those places you mentioned are not that bad. Especially if you're white. The Bluff is horrific for everybody involved.

Grady is awful
McGehee is a strip mall on 6(
Monticello is only around because of UAM and the cotton.

I could include Dumas also. That stretch of 65/Delta is bad poor living standards, and terrible educationally.

You're comparing Detla towns and Monticello to Pine Bluff. And putting them all on the same level. Granted they all suck, but you don't know what you're talking about. It's apples and oranges.

Again you have no idea. As I stated most people would rather live in Pine Bluff than anywhere in the Delta. You are ignorant to not say that those towns I listed are terrible. Nobody in their right mind would say any of the Delta towns are better than PB

Again those towns I listed are among the worst in the state, Helena West Helena, West Memphis, and Jonesboro are worse.

Nope are you?

I'm older than you lived in the state of Arkansas for 30 plus years. Nobody but you defends the delta when trying to discuss quality of life.

It's the delta. Poor rural areas. Shitty quality of life if you're poor, but most of the poor are at least country, hard working types or have immediate family who know what work is. Not the case in Pine Bluff. Pine Bluff is akin to West Memphis and Jonesboro. Closer to bigger cities. Zero family structure and completely hopeless. Comparing Dumas, Monticello etc to Pine Bluff is retarded. If you've lived around there and think otherwise you are indeed clueless. It's a different animal.

Your first sentence reinforces exactly what I have said the whole time. It's the Delta.

Its the Delta alright. Poor blacks and white trash and really rich white people. Immensely better than Pine Bluff. I'd walk thru any neighborhood in any of the smaller towns up and down 65 without batting an eye. Pine Bluff not so much. It's just not the same. Think what you will

I wouldn't live in Pine Bluff either White Hall possibly, but doubt it.
