The team announced Monday that coach Darryl Sutter and president and general manager Dean Lombardi have been fired.
The duo brought two Stanley Cups to Los Angeles, marking the Kings' only championships in team history.

I don't think Lombardi should've been fired, he built 2 Stanley Cup Champions.

With Sutter I think it was time to move on, all players eventually tune-out the coach

It's all just a really, really sad situation. But failure to make the playoffs demands a blood sacrifice.

I'm gutted.

But really it's silly, if Quick doesn't get hurt do they miss the playoffs?

(I realize he's been hurt alot.)

I can at least sort of see firing the coach because players will always eventually tune out a coach... but Lombardi? Why fire the GM?

There will be a line at his agent's door.
