He's expected to miss the rest of the season, and it's always a bad sign when the headline has to re-assure you his mystery disease is not life threatening. Good God.
It's a real shame. He's a terrific player. Hope he gets well and get on the ice soon.

As much as I hate the Pens, I love Letang's game. Hope he gets well soon.

Turns out he had a stroke and will be out 6 weeks. Will be treated with blood thinners and should be able to play.
Just awful.

a stroke that young can be really bad
he better make sure he gets a 2nd opinion and takes it easy.

Possible hole in his heart that could be related.
Good timing with the Olympic break at least.
Hopeful he can be back in 6 weeks, we'll see.

How is it safe to play a contact sport on blood thinners?

This story makes me want to go to the doctors.

I think he'll be off of them by then, Vokoun has been on them all year and is probably done for his career sadly.
If it is the hole in his heart that caused it, then idk what that means. Heart surgery or what.

I think he'll try and play but this really sounds career ending to me. He's got to be headed for heart surgery. You hate to see this happen to anyone.

I don't think it will be career ending, certainly doesn't sound that way at least from the Pens and what doctors have said.
Hopefully he'll be back on the ice in 5 weeks.

Good thing it isn't Crosby or you would probably never post again.
